Okoberfest has passed, Halloween is soon trailing, and the holiday season is quickly approaching. Now is the time to treat YOURSELF and delight in the exceptional culinary event of the year, MainStreet Libertyville’s Chef Fest: Night at the Museum. Let the chefs of Libertyville’s restaurants lure you from your regular routine with their showcase of nibbles and sips for this spectacular evening.
For one night only, Saturday, November 3rd, local Libertyville restauranteurs unite in a nod to culinary excellence under one roof. Look forward to tastings from your favorite longstanding and newer Libertyville eateries, including Clucker’s Charcoal Chicken, Egg Harbor Café, Hansa, Main Street Social, Milwalky Taco, O’Toole’s of Libertyville, Oscar Lee’s Barbecue, Pizzeria DeVille, Shakou, The Picnic Basket, Townee Square, Real Clean Paleo and The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
Don’t miss this opportunity to discover what is trending in among local chefs or even find your new favorite small bite perfect for your upcoming holiday gathering. One ticket gains you access to assorted sushi, chicken artichoke parmesan; pumpkin soup; mini-Berkshire meatballs; pork belly burnt ends; bacon wrapped, stuffed dates; and feta and spinach phyllo triangles. Also plan to savor seasonal pumpkin soup; grilled shrimp and sausage skewers; cucumber sandwiches; seafood funnels and grilled shrimp. How will you decide what to try first?
Enjoy craft beer from Mickey Finn’s Brewery and a signature craft cocktail designed exclusively for Chef Fest 2018 by Libertyville’s own North Shore Distillery as you mingle and enjoy every bite of your evening. And enjoy sweets and craft-roasted coffee to cap off the evening’s experience.
Take a leisurely walk about the new Bess Bower Dunn Museum of Lake County between tasting courses, and enjoy a special tour of the museum archives between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. (availability limited).
Live music and the fun and excitement of a live auction will round out the evening. Don’t let your friends outbid you on one-of-a-kind, local dining experiences, including private dinners, in-home chef meals, chef-favorite cookware, and an incredible local fitness package.
