The MainStreet Summer Photo Challenge asks you to capture an image of your favorite way to make every day feel like a vacation without leaving Libertyville.

Nothing says summer like the feel of grass between your toes – an icy cold, refreshing drink – the taste of fresh, farm picked produce – and the cool spray of the sprinkler. Summer seems to fly by all too quickly so it is especially sweet when you relax and take pleasure in the season. Downtown Libertyville knows how to celebrate the fleeting summer months with the Farmer’s Market, Lunch in the Park, Rose Garden Concerts, alfresco dining, and more.

Helpful information includes your name and a brief description of your image such as date, time, place. Photos may be displayed or rejected at the sole discretion of the organization.

The images may be displayed on the MainStreet Facebook page, the website at https://mainstreetlibertyville.org/, or in promotions to forward the MainStreet Libertyville mission to enhance our community identity and heritage, create a center of activity, and ensure economic stability in the heart of Libertyville. By entering the challenge you grant MainStreet Libertyville a royalty-free non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute and reproduce, in whole or in part, in MainStreet Libertyville social media or online website. Photographs will include a credit, as feasible.
