Founded in 1962, our mission is opening doors to mental healthcare so people can cope, heal, and thrive. We provide culturally sensitive, quality care delivered with dignity, respect, and compassion.

We know that emotional wellness provides the solid foundation we all need to fulfill our potential. We understand how a mental illness, difficult life transition, or traumatic event can crack this foundation, causing damage and instability in someone’s life.

Our counseling services help people at all stages of life repair these cracks to reach their highest level of functioning at school, home, at work, engage in healthy relationships, and be productive members of society.

Because the cost of professional counseling services is too often a barrier to receiving treatment, YFC is committed to providing affordable options for those who are uninsured or experiencing financial difficulties. YFC was founded on the belief that everyone should have access to quality mental health care, regardless of ability to pay.
