The Libertyville Junior Womans Club has been serving the Libertyville, IL community and surrounding area for over 50 years. Established in 1963, the club is engaged in countless activities and events to improve the community through volunteerism and philanthropic endeavors. LJWC members serve on the Civic Center Foundation and are an integral part of the Libertyville Days annual celebration held in June. In addition, members are responsible for the delivery of countless meals for the Meals on Wheels program throughout the year and the weekly preparation of Senior Desserts. Other projects include our annual Pumpkin Fest, participating in the Fire Prevention Poster judging at local grade schools, Highway Clean-up activities, a PADS dinner, donating clothing and school supplies to those in need, supplying families with holiday gifts, and a hosting of a variety of fundraisers for local beneficiaries.
The Libertyville Junior Woman’s Club meets the first Tuesday of the month (September through June) at 7:00 PM (social) and 7:30 PM (program and meeting) at the Libertyville Civic Center, 135 W. Church Street in Libertyville.
Membership is open to all women interested in sharing their time and talents to get involved in the community for volunteer and social activities!
