Race-Day Information
The start/finish area is adjacent to the parking lots along the north side of Newberry Ave. just north of the Liberty Theater. The Sponsor Expo, which is held in these lots, opens to racers at 3:00pm on race day. Preregistered runners who have not picked up their packets ahead of time may do so from 3-4:50pm in this area. Restrooms, a first aid area, gear check, water stations, and sponsor booths will be located in this area. To make the course safer and more efficient, we will be lining up runners according to their pace time.

The Twilight Shuffle will be held rain or shine. Race will be delayed or canceled if lightning occurs. Again, no refunds.

Limited parking is available along Milwaukee Avenue near the start/finish, as well as on side streets such as Church, Cook, School, and Lake. Ample parking is available in the two public parking garage located just west of Milwaukee Avenue on Lake Street and just west of Milwaukee on Church Street directly behind Mickey Finn’s. Please do not park along the race course. We encourage you to walk or carpool to the race.

The race will be professionally timed using the Chronotrack B-Tag system. These disposable chips are as accurate as traditional timing chips, but do not need to be returned after the race. B-Tag chips are attached to the back side of each participant’s race number. Participants must cross the start and finish lines with the B-Tag secured to their race number to receive an official finish time. Each participant’s time does not start until he or she crosses the timing mat at the start of the race. For accuracy, please do not remove or modify the B-Tag in any way.

Course Closure
Roads along the race course must reopen to through traffic no later than 6pm. Official chip timing ends at 6pm. Participants who remain on the course past 6pm must move to the sidewalk for safety and are not guaranteed an official chip time. Race course signage will remain in position until all racers have finished the course.

Due to our high number of participants and our desire to maintain a high level of safety and accuracy, there will be no walk-up registration on the day of the race. Sunday, September 2nd at 10am will be the last opportunity to register.
