Baby greens, carrots, hakurei salad turnips, red and golden beets, various radishes, vegetables, fruit, herbs
We are growing vegetables because we love providing healthy, fresh vegetables to our community. My home garden grew bigger over the years and I had an abundance to share and with my adult children giving us grandchildren and the wives desiring to be at home with the children, we decided to start our farm. Tsedah in Hebrew means food or provision. Our son Tim is an expert on soil and seed starting and my husband has laid the groundwork by learning how to design and improve upon our urban farming practices by studying farmers like Curtis Stone and JM Fortier. Our goal is to provide a harvest for the community that will move to the next generation. We offer CSA's to our customers so they can enjoy a wonderful variety all summer long on their kitchen table.
We grow on a 1/4 acre using pesticide-free, herbicide-free, using heirloom, non-gmo and organic seeds. We use low-till, sustainable methods and use row covers on crops that need them. We grow arugula, spring mix, kale, swiss chard, spinach (all in baby form, package in 5oz bags), carrots, hakurei salad turnips, red and golden beets, french breakfast and pink beauty radishes, watermelon radishes, garlic, onions, green onions, tomatoes, beans, colored peppers of a many types, squashes, cantaloupe, cucumbers & herbs.
