Get ready to celebrate the season in true Libertyville style!

Dickens of a Holiday returns to downtown on Saturday, Dec. 12, offering a day packed with holiday magic, classic traditions, and family-friendly fun. From magical photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus to the beloved Children’s Holiday Shoppe, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in the heart of our charming downtown.

Here’s what’s in store:

1. Photos with Santa (Cook Park, 10am -12pm; 1-3pm) – Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus for a photo in his sleigh! Monetary donations and non-perishable food items for Libertyville Township Food Pantry are appreciated.
2. Children’s Holiday Shoppe (Libertyville Civic Center, 10am-3pm) – Kids can experience the joy of giving by shopping for gifts for their loved ones (with a little help from Santa’s elves)! Children ages 4-10 may shop for up to six gifts.
3. Giving Back – Donations of non-perishable food items for the Libertyville Township Food Pantry will be collected throughout the day.
